left page )Marina Mandalina, Šibenik, Croatia ( right )

Heavy Duty pontoons represent the latest technology in pontoon construction. Designed for boat boat boat mooring in modern marinas, overpass bridges and landing stages, they are very strong and maintenance-free with a high loading capacity and very long service life.

ALL PONTOONS ARE constructed from strong heavy-duty, all-concrete fl oats connected by fl exible rubber bolt joints, cornerwise and sideways if required. This gives versatility of installation enabling developers to make the very best economic use of the available water space. In addition to the varied confi guration options, the Heavy Duty series is offered with a range of optional accessories that can be incorporated to customise each system. Options include different kinds of concrete coatings; softwood or hardwood decking; cable ducts and top entry service channels to carry piping for water, power, fuel, grey water and fi re mains; and fi xing rails which incorporate universal adjustments for fi ngers up to 12 m and Super Yatch fi ngers up to 15 m. Marine float modules are available in a range of standard sizes up to 4 m wide and weighing up to 20 tonnes. They are durably constructed units of continuous fl otation providing high loading capacity, good stability and connections for even the strongest mooring points for large marinas. All Heavy Duty fl oats have a unique anchoring system specifi cally designed to accommodate Seafl ex for easy and safe mooring. As with all Marinetek concrete systems, and as the name suggests, Heavy Duty pontoons are of exceptionally strong construction with a 50 year design lifetime.
