Makefast U Bolts

Grey Nylon 6 collars

Red Thermoflex® seal

• In type 316 stainless steel with stainless steel nuts

• U bolts 0777 to 0779L are supplied with one plate, 2 nuts and washers with a red thermoflex seal and grey nylon 6 collars

• Part No. 0295 supplied with 2 plates and has stainless steel collars

• Part No. 0294 supplied with 1 plate and has black nylon 6 collars

Advantages

The advantage of the Makefast design for U bolts is that they are adjustable from above the deck where there is easy accessibility. The nuts can be run up by hand on the underside of the deck, where confined space makes it difficult to use a spanner, and then can be

tightened from above deck.

If necessary the nuts can be adjusted by up to 3mm (0.12"), to compensate for any unevenness in the deck. After they are

tightened the collars snap over them.
