Wetsuits and Lycras

Features

TIZIP: When the TIZIP is closed the sealing lips above and below the coil are compressed making a perfect seal. The entire plastic profile is highly abrasion resistant. The unique design prevents the slider from wearing down the sealing lips when the zipper is opened or closed. They are used in all of our Drysuits. Sandwich Neck Closure: Head movement is very common in sailing. You’re always looking around to spot waves, clouds, racing track and fellow competitors. To prevent a sour neck this construction of the collar covers all Velcro completely with soft neoprene. Dynamic Arm Construction: To ensure comfort during extensive and repeated arm movements the armpits are kept free of seams. The arm construction seams are curved and located in such a way to provide as much comfort and flexibility as pos- sible. Parabolic Cuffs: Parabolic Cuffs make it easier to enter the marine suit. The parabolic opening is big enough to put feet and arms through effortlessly. But with the parabolic shape of the seams the total circumference is kept normal to make a good fitted cuff. Double Reinforced Knees: For the demanding sailor these knees are double reinforced by heavy Powertex lining with on top of that highly durable printing. Extended Lower Back Panel: To keep the lower back warm we’ve extended the back of our Fleece, Base Layer and Thermo Lycra. Just that bit of extra length covers the lower back in hiking positions. Thickness: In our wetsuit range we have the right combination of neoprene thicknesses for every condition. V-shaped Flexneck: The V-shape provides natural feeling in the neck. It’s a pre-shaped anti choke neck made of soft extreme flexible Proflex neoprene. Plush Laminated Coated Nylon: This laminated neoprene has less stretch but superb warmth characteristics. This fabric is used in the chestpanels. Backup Shield System: This extra layer behind the zipper prevents water from penetrating into the suit. The backup guides water out through the Aqua Exit Hole. Aqua Exit Hole: If water penetrates through the zipper, the backup system guides it straight out of the suit through the Aqua Exit Hole. Aquastop Zipper Flap: An extra layer of smooth skin neoprene behind the zipper, which prevents water penetration. X-Motion Kneepads: Pre-shaped, self-centrating kneepads, designed for maximum comfort, range of motion and durability. Made of very strong Powertex neoprene. Split Line Zipper Construction: In this zipper construction the zipper is locked up as much as possible in the back of the suit. Therefore there will be less water penetrating the zipper and less warmth loss will occur due to a chilled surface around the zipper. UV-Shield: Lycra body wear prevents you from sunburn in the shiniest conditions. The UV Protection Factor (UPF) is 50+.
