Wetsuits and Lycras
Materials
DWR technology: Durable water repellent finish on all double lined neoprene surfaces. It keeps your wetsuit warmer and more lightweight. Thermo Skin: Thermo Skin is based on a more flexible neoprene foam. On the inside it has heat reflective titanium between the neoprene cells and the lining. The lining itself is hydrophobic and is able to stretch in all directions. Therefore Thermo Skin has a great proportion between warmth & stretch. Hyper Flex: This lining has multiple advantages. Most noticeable is the stretch capability. For example a 3mm HyperFlex arm panel can easily stretch up to twice its original length. Furthermore the lining is made more durable by cross weaving, is therefore able to stretch evenly in all directions and feels soft on the skin. Proflex Neoprene: This closed cell neoprene is warmer, more lightweight and extremely flexible. Superflex Neoprene: Strong & flexible neoprene, very comfortable to wear. Duraflex Neoprene: Medium-stretch neoprene, comfortable to wear and very strong. Powertex Neoprene: The very strong nylon surface makes this one of the strongest neoprenes available. Mainly used on kneepads, shins and seat parts. Metalite Neoprene: The metal coating on the neoprene surface at the inside of the underwear is a heat retentive coating that significant improves insulation. The second advantage is the great flexibility of the neoprene, which is very comfortable to wear. Advanced Titanium Neoprene: All steamers and shortarm steamers in our collection have a titanium coating that significant improves insulation (up to 25%!). Metalite as Outer Shield: In moderate to warm conditions metalite can be used as an Outer Shield. The material is comfortable, flexible and lightweight, even when wet. The Outer Shield Metalite products are reinforced with Powertex on the Seat Part, Shinbone & Knees. Magic Moisture Polyester: Our Base layer is a lightweight, slim fit material, made of Magic Moisture Polyester. This fabric is designed to keep the user dry and comfortable. It consists of special fibres with an increased surface area. This results in superb moisture transportation away from the skin, to regulate body temperature. Developed to meet the demanding needs of top class athletes, Magic Moisture keeps you fresh, dry and comfortable. HeatSkin: HeatSkin has superior moisture transportation characteristics, it’s breathable, quick drying, heat retentive and on top of that it’s resistant to aromas. >
Techniques
Blindstitch Technology: The two-neoprene pieces are first double or triple glued and then stitched, using a stitching technique that only penetrates half of the neoprene material. This insures a watertight and flat seam that is also extremely comfortable to wear. Flatlock Stitch Technology: A flat seam, that overlaps two panels of neoprene, creating a strong and rash free construction. Twinlock Stitch Technology: A flat seam, that overlaps two pieces of neoprene creating a strong and rash free construction. Twinlock stitched seams are less visible and therefore less vulnerable. Twinlock Stitch Technology is used on most of our summer wetsuits. >
