AQUA4GEN AEROdOEN

'Two Units in One'

The AQUA4GEN can be quickly and easily converted into a wind generator, providing in a single unit a water generator when saiilng and a wind generator when at boat anchor or when sailing, with the same performance as an Aero4Gen.

• PERFORMANCE

The water towed performance is unaffected by the conversion.

Whatever the wind speed the power produced is continuous. It can operate safely and

continuously in storms producing 20 amps continuously in 60 knot winds.

• RAPID CONVERSION

The unit Is convertible into wind mode in less than 5 minutes. The mounting rope is removed and the unit bolted into its pole mounted cradle. The fan assembly and tailfin are added and the waterproof connections made. It is equally as quick to convert back to water towed mode.

• PERMANENT WIND MOUNTING

The wind conversion mounting is complete with slip rings which allows the unit to turn through 360' without twisting wires. Therefore the unit can be left in wind mode indefinitely. It is ideal for maintaining batteries when at anchor or away from the boat.

• QUIET: LOW SPEED: COMPACT: LIGHT: ROBUST

The unit incorporates all the proven features of AeroGens. The same computer designed low noise blades operating at low speeds for enhanced safety, comfort and reduced bearing wear. It is compact and light yet sturdy and maintenance free.

• BATTERY PROTECTION

No additional voltage regulators are required. Either a 4SB or 4TB regulator will protect batteries from overcharging in water or wind mode. See Voltage Regulator Choice.

• OPTIONS

AC4: Retrofit wind conversion kit for both AQ412 and AQ424.

MK2: Mounting kit, 1.2 metre of 1" o.d., 1" stanchion mount, universal plate to fix 1"
