Unfold the lines from the bar, lay them down on the ground and separate them without twisting. Connect the Y lines at the kite Leading Edge Join Y lines, connecting A line (Regulator line) Unwind the 5 >
th Line in between the front lines and insert the 5 >
th th line end inside the ring on trim head. Connect now the D line (Safety line) to the 5 line end (line C) as described in the pictures Slide D end inside the bar hole and the Twister C-Loop and connect the ring for HPass-leash connection ( see pictures). Check the lines by connecting them to a fixed point and pulling on the bar to put the lines under tension. The lines should be equal like this; if this isn’t the case, adjust the length working on leaders and pigtails until all lines are equal. This is the same for all the kites, only the position of the stopper ball change. The 5 >
th Line has been fitted; now you have to adjust the stopper ball, depending by the kite size used and check that line D slides easily inside bar and CLoop Twister holes. It is better for the 5th Line to be slightly slack that under too much tension. If the 5th line is too tight (too short), the kite can luff in light wind and lose its intrinsic stability and some power too. The wind conditions will also feel gustier than they would with the 5 >
th line adjusted properly, or without the 5 >
th line. Therefore, if you feel something wrong with the flying characteristics of the kite after fitting the 5 >
th line kit (kite luffs, less stability, less power, overly gusty conditions, etc), check the adjustment and if everything is ok, extend line A by 5 cm or more. Remember: it is better to have the 5th Line a little long, rather than too short. With 5 >
th line as primary safety, is not possible to release the 5 >
th th line if it wrap around the kite after a crash or a collapse in a gust. If that happen, pull immediately a back line to try to turn the kite and to prevent possible 5 line damage at the kite.
