To power up the kite, pull the black handle: The trim will slide, and the kite will have more power. If you need a more “fine” regulation, pull the black strap between the upper handle and the buckle : the strap slide slower. You use the BAR to control kite direction (right/left) and kite power (only if the C-Loop is connected at the
marine harness). The Bar has the left side RED and the right part BLUE; when you connect the lines to the kite, make sure the RED line is on your left side. The bar has a hole in the middle where the depower
marine rope and safety line pass. If you pull on the left side (Red) of the bar, the kite will turn left; pulling on right side (Blue) makes the kite turn right. Pushing the bar away from the C-loop, will depower the kite. Pulling the bar towards the C-loop, will power up the kite. These movements can be simultaneous, to help kite control. The new TWISTER SWIVEL C-LOOP lets you do left and right rotations without the lines twisting. You can also kite unhooked but connected to the safety system. Before every launch check that the: - Red Safety Ball is at your right side and the release works perfectly - Safety line can slide freely inside the swivel and hasn’t got any twists that can stop it sliding properly. The RED BALL for the emergency release is on the right: if in trouble, pull it and the kite will lose power instantly. If the release is released, you can reconnect the safety . If you cannot reconnect, turn the C-Loop upside down and hook the harness hook into the big hole. That will let you get back to the beach. On the front part there is the swivel and the front piece the depower rope is connected. The rear piece has a hole that lets the safety line pass. The safety is held on the C-loop by the Velcro. If you use the Emergency Hook-In, you can’t activate any
release system. If you need to disconnect from the kite, you will have to unhook manually from the harness hook. When you are in the Emergency Hook-In, only ride safe, depower the kite and return immediately to the beach, landing the kite; stay away from obstacles. This plastic tube prevents the C-Loop unhooking accidentally from the Harness Hook. We have changed the standard connection, that have the Plastic tube on the C-Loop moving it at a new connection with the spreader Bar on the harness; this help a lot for un-hooked riding. See the sequence on www.Loose.it – download to see how to fix it This is the rope that connects C-Loop to the Trim, passing through the bar. On the depower rope there are two bumpers that smooth out the action of the bar against the C-Loop and the Trim This rope is always under a lot of traction when riding and can be subject to wear and tear. Check it frequently and if you see a problem, change it immediately with a Kiteloose original part. The depower range should be around 25 cm from swivel to trim, not including the extra rope needed for knots H-Pass leash is composed by :
Shackle with emergency release Elastic with special cover Shackle for safety ring connection Before launching the kite, connect the shackle to the safety line steel ring under the C-Loop. To connect the H-PASS BUNGEE Leash, see the sequence on www.Loose.it – download IMPORTANT: if you need to release the Bungee emergency release, you will not be connected in any way to the kite; so kite will fly off downwind. Use this release only in an extremely dangerous situation and be sure that no kiters, people, or boats, etc are downwind. A kite without a rider, flying alone downwind, cannot be reached just by swimming. The user releases the kite manufacturer and/or the reseller from any injury that is caused by releasing the safety leash or if the kite is used without the Bungee Safety Leash connected. The lines connect the bar to the kite so it can be controlled. Front Lines: ? Black color ? Connected at the bottom to the Trim Strap pigtail and ring ? Connected on the top to the Front Kite Pigtails ? These are the lines under more stress, so check them regularly and if you find any signs of wear, change them immediately Back Lines: ? Red Left Line connected to Left Back Kite Pigtail ? Blue (or other color) Right Line connected to left Right Kite Pigtail ? Both are connected at the bottom to the two leader lines on the bar ends ? These lines are under less stress, but check them regularly and if you find any signs of wear, change them immediately >
