USER MANUAL

Thanks for choosing a new KITELOOSE kite. All our products are the result of the work of our R&D team who study and develop the kites to obtain a final product with the highest performance, which is as simple as possible to use, and is made to the highest standards of quality on the market today. Before rigging and using the kite, you should read and fully comprehend every part of this manual. The contents of this manual are for your information and may be subject to change at any time, without prior warning or the obligation to update or revise previous versions. You can find all the new info on manuals, setup, rigging, use, tips, etc. on our web site www.Loose.it in the DOWNLOAD section. Visit our website at least once a week for all the latest news and updates. If you use this product, you fully accept all the following conditions. The non-acceptance and/or non-observance of the warnings and/or improper use of the kite can expose the user to serious risks and even mortal danger, which releases the manufacturer and distributor from any responsibility and makes the guarantee void. DON’T USE THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU FULLY ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS AND WARNINGS RELEVANT TO THE USE OF THE SAME! THIS WARNING CONCERNS YOUR OWN PERSONAL SAFETY. IF YOU DO NOT FULLY ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. You should take a course at an acknowledged Kite School. This is mandatory because kitesurfing is a dangerous sport if you attempt to practice it without the right knowledge and instruction. This manual will explain the adjustment, setup, line setup, use of the Trim, Safety system and all you need to know about a Kiteloose kite. It will not explain any “how to” notions on Kitesurfing: that is the job of a kitesurfing School. ? The user of this product must be an adult capable of understanding that the use of the same product could put them at risk or in danger and they must wilfully assume full responsibility for this. ? The user of this product must be a good swimmer. ? Before using this product, the user must have read, understood and accepted all the remarks in this manual. ? Kitesurfing is a sport for adults. ? Traction kites, lines and accessories can be dangerous for the user and other people in the vicinity too. ? To use a kite, you must take an instruction course at an internationally Recognized Kite School. ? Improper use of a kite can be the cause of injury for the user and in extreme situations, even death. ? The user of this product has understood and accepted the terms of sale and understands that the manufacturer and/or distributor and/or reseller cannot be held responsible for any damage to things or injury to persons caused by this product. ? The user releases the manufacturer and/or distributor and/or reseller from any responsibility for the above. ? Don’t use a kite near an airport, road, natural or artificial obstacles, buildings, people, or high-voltage power lines. ? Use the kite in open spaces, far from anyone and anything. Check the weather conditions before launching and don’t use it in gusty and/or offshore and/or on-shore wind. ? This Kite is designed for water traction only. ? Don’t use the kite unless you have the right control and knowledge of the same; spend the necessary time learning how to use the kite and remember that you are responsible for the health and safety of others near you. ? As you progress with your kiting, be conscious of your limits and don’t push them too far. ? You must use a life jacket, a helmet and a wetsuit for kitesurfing. Use a safety leash with a release to connect at the kite all the time. ? A traction kite is not designed to be used as any other kind of flying objects (paraglider, parachute, etc) or as a floating object.

For your safety

? Always measure the wind speed with a wind meter and use the right kite size. ? Avoid gusty wind, offshore and onshore wind, or strong wind; pay attention at waves, tide, current, rocks, etc. ? Don’t use kite in the presence of thunderstorms. ? Never connect yourself permanently to the kite and/or bar and/or lines. ? Don’t touch the lines when they are under tension. ? When the kites is inflated, place it on the beach with the Leading Edge facing into the wind and weigh it down with sand (don’t use sharp objects to weigh it down it); if it isn’t held firmly in place it may fly away. ? Never give your kite to another rider or person; the adjustments that are ok for you, can be dangerous for others.
