We have changed the standard connection, that have the Plastic tube on the C-Loop moving it at a new connection with the spreader Bar on the marine harness; this help a lot for un-hooked riding. See the sequence on www.Loose.it – download to see how to fix it This is the boat rope that connects C-Loop to the Trim, passing through the bar. On the depower rope there are two bumpers that smooth out the action of the bar against the C-Loop and the Trim This rope is always under a lot of traction when riding and can be subject to wear and tear. Check it frequently and if you see a problem, change it immediately with a Kiteloose original part. The depower range should be around 35 cm from swivel to trim, not including the extra rope needed for knots H-Pass leash is composed by : Shackle with emergency release Elastic with special cover Shackle for safety ring connection Before launching the kite, connect the shackle to the safety line steel ring under the C-Loop. To connect the H-PASS BUNGEE Leash, see the sequence on www.Loose.it – download IMPORTANT: if you need to release the Bungee emergency release, you will not be connected in any way to the kite; so kite will fly off downwind. Use this release only in an extremely dangerous situation and be sure that no kiters, people, or boats, etc are downwind. A kite without a rider, flying alone downwind, cannot be reached just by swimming. The user releases the kite manufacturer and/or the reseller from any injury that is caused by releasing the safety leash or if the kite is used without the Bungee Safety Leash connected. The lines connect the bar to the kite so it can be controlled. Front Lines: ? Black color ? Connected at the bottom to the Trim Strap pigtail and ring ? Connected on the top to the Front Kite Pigtails ? These are the lines under more stress, so check them regularly and if you find any signs of wear, change them immediately Back Lines: ? Red Left Line connected to Left Back Kite Pigtail ? Blue (or other color) Right Line connected to left Right Kite Pigtail ? Both are connected at the bottom to the two leader lines on the bar ends ? These lines are under less stress, but check them regularly and if you find any signs of wear, change them immediately Before you pack up the kite, make sure the kite is completely dry (colours can bleed otherwise) and doesn’t have sand or other objects inside. Disconnect the lines from the kite and wind them up on the bar. Deflate all the struts and the Leading Edge, opening the valve plugs (the valves on the struts have a non-return ball inside for easier inflation; press it a little and the air will leak out; to deflate the Leading Edge using the DEFLATE Valve) Lay the kite on the beach with the struts upwards, check there are no rocks, pieces of wood or other sharp objects. Follow the sequence below: Put the kite in the Bag and close the zip. BLADDER PUNCTURES If you are careful you can avoid puncturing bladders most of the time: ? Avoid placing the inflated kite on uneven or rough surfaces, asphalt, prickly vegetation, glass, rocks, etc. ? Don’t leave the kite inflated in the sun or in high temperatures. ? Don’t crash the kite hard on the beach. Despite this, if you puncture a bladder, proceed a follows: 1-Open the Velcro that closes the bladders or leading edge (photo) 2-Pull the end of the bladder out with a finger (photo) 3-Fix the lark’s head loop of one of the flying lines to the valve if you’re fixing a strut bladder (photo) 4-Fix the puncture at the end (tips) of the Leading Edge using the lark’s head loop of one of the flying lines if you’re fixing the Leading Edge (photo) 5-Pullout the bladder from the opening (with the Velcro or zip) (photo)
