Before to start the assembling, bring the following precaution : ? Lay the boat board down on a soft surface (grass, carpet). ? Don’t lay the board on sand, ‘cause sand grain can make the assembling not perfect. ? Be careful that the surface where you lay down the board is clean and there isn’t rocks, sharp objects etc ? Be sure that during the screws assembling (for straps and handle), the screw enter inside the insert perfectly vertical. If the screwing feel hard, unscrew and check well the screw position . ? Find Right and Left Foot Pad; Right Footpad has the central elevation on the left side, Left Foot Pads on right side ? The Footpad front part is the one that has the Finger Grips ? Find the Right and Left Footstrap : KITELOOSE sign in front of you, Right Footstrap has the wider part on the right side, the Left one on the left. RIGHT Footstrap LEFT Footstrap ? Insert on the strap hole at the ends the retainer and the screw. ? Be sure that the retainer fit well the Footstrap round shaped end. ? Open completely the Velcro and disassemble the Footstrap into two parts ? Place the Left Plate with the Footpads stitched, up the Footsrap board inserts ? Insert the screw inside the plate lateral hole and screw up on the insert. Be sure about the screw vertical position and rotate this part of 180° to help the vertical screwing. ? DON’T SCREW TOO TIGHT, just a little to permit the strap rotation and fitting ? Do the same with the other Footstrap part ? Now turn the two parts of 180° ? Now insert the internal part, the tongue one, inside the sock on the upper part of the second part. ? Slide the tongue inside up you reach the desiderate Footstrap length to fit your foot. ? When you have reach the best foot fitting, screw up with force to have all the system Footpad + Plate + Footstrap completely rock solid without any movement. ? Remember that with wet foot, the foot sliding is more easy; so when you regulate the Footstrap, it can be a little bit more close. Do the same for the right Footstrap ? Insert the screws on the Fins retainer ? Insert now the screws inside the Fins Board Holes. ? Find the front part of the fin that is the lower one. This part has to be in the Board center direction ? Insert the screw inside the hole that are on the top of the fins. ? Screw up a little the front screw ? Screw up a little the back screw ? Now you can screw up tight both screw ? ATTENTION – A screwing too : High can cause the breaking of the fin Low can cause a fin movement during the riding and damage to board surface ? Check before every run about the status of the fins and of the screws; if necessary regulate it or substitute fins if damaged against rocks
