Limber holes are installed throughout the stringer system to allow for drainage of all compartments with the exception of the engine for boat sumps. These areas are sealed to isolate the machinery fluids from the bilge system.

MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS

GENERAL All marine plumbing connections below the water line are double clamped with stainless steel hose clamps. All thru hulls at or below the water line are fitted with ball valve style seacocks made of solid bronze. Engine raw water intakes and exhaust are integrated in the IPS pod drive system. AIR CONDITIONING / HEATING Two 16,000 BTU cooling capacity units with reverse cycle heating. A/C vents located in overhead valances in salon. ENGINE ROOM INSULATION The engine room is completely surrounded by Sounddown and 3M Thinsulate sound-absorbing insulation with all cavities and wireways foam filled after installation. Hatches are double gasket sealed. All overhead and bulkhead insulation contains a ¼” damping sheet as well as acoustic insulation. All machinery is vibration dampening mounted to reduce noise.ENGINE AND RUNNING GEAR Marine engine mounts are flexible rubber isolation mounts drilled and tapped into steel reinforced stringers.Volvo Penta IPS500 system is standard. This system includes: twin 6-cylinder boat diesel engines equipped with a common-rail fuel injection system turbocharger and aftercooler; steerable propulsion units including gear box; twin, forward- facing, counter-rotating propellers for boats; integral seawater intake and exhaust system; steering and electronic shift and throttle controls. This system and its many benefits—economy, handling, acceleration, and comfort-- is fully described on the Volvo website.Volt meter, engine oil pressure, engine water temperature, fuel level and hour meter are standard. Audible and visual marine alarms for engine temperature and oil pressure.Stainless steel trim tabs with electric rams and LED marine indicators at helm. BILGE SYSTEM Each compartment contains a 2,000 GPH pump with float switch and manual override. An additional 3,500 GPH high water emergency pump with float switch and manual override is located in engine room. All marine pumps are fitted with one- way valve and anti-siphon loops to reduce water in bilges.
