KUMERA Norgear hydraulic clutch unitsfor marine and industrial applications

The NKHU oil operated multi-disc clutch seriesoffers a compact transmission for a torque range of 1250 – 60,000 Nm.The standard configuration is free-standing butsmaller sizes are available with SAE flanges.The clutch is self-contained in cast housing withmechanical and/or electric oil pressure pump, oil cooler, filter and alarm sensors.The clutches are set up for remote electricaloperation via an electro-hydraulic valve for 24V dc or 240V ac supply with local manual control in case of loss of power supplies. Advanced control systems, engineered to give the correct format and rate of engagement allow clutch utilisation upto full speed of the engine.Lubricated and cooled by the mechanical drivenpressure oil pump, the unit is self-adjusting for life of the clutch plates.The KUMERA package can include a torsionalflexible input coupling and an output coupling to suit the driven unit.
