Introducing the Kadey-Krogen 55' Expedition

A new standard has been setfor long-rangefull displacement trawleryachts with the introduction ofthe Krogen 55' Expedition. The Expedition offers new exterior styling, with a handsome sheer and a graceful raked bow, and the living area is nearly 25 percent larger than that ofother comparably sized vessels. She has a range ofover 3000 miles at 8 knots, and the equivalent of nonstop from Annapolis to Antigua at 9 knots.

This new globe trotter is a twin engine, shoal draft, pilothouse trawler yacht that blends the roominess of the 48' Whaleback, the robust machinery and systems found in the Krogen 58' and the styling shown in our 77' Expedition design. She is being constructed at Asia Harbor Yacht Builders Co., LTD in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Asia Harbor is the facility that has built Kadey-Krogen trawlers for the past 15 years and has helped us to achieve the high level of quality we enjoy today. Customers will recognize the natural flow and comfortable look and feel of the living quarters as the 55' Expedition takes advantage of our experience gained in 30 years of building long range, liveaboard, trawleryachts.
