| The Kona LINK is fully computer designed. We have made sure all the details and shape characteristics are well though of and accurate to make it the ultimate easy entry level performance board. Thanks to the wide nose outline the LINK is extremely stable for a board at only 3 meters long and 80 cm wide. We have integrated a deep single concave running from the nose gradually converting into a double concave to increase stability in the mast foot area. The wide nose shape is essential and ads to the board's excellent performance. It is planing up very early and in sub planing conditions the nose absorbs the velocity of the chop, generating great top speed for sailors at all skill levels. Gybes and maneuvers are easy thanks to the soft forgiving rails. This distinctive all round design does not really require footstraps. Have a go, and you will find the Link surprisingly effortless to control without straps, even when powered up on the plane.
