The boards are very well equipped with multi position mast track, 80 cm long dagger marine board and 65 cm fin and 8 super light race foot straps. The deep V shape in the nose produce a smooth ride upwind as well as assisting the planning ability of a board only 80 cm wide. The V runs all the way to the tail, providing a super easy ride upwind – with excellent stability.A good portion of “Formula characteristics” are naturally built into the shape –such as tail cut outs, - permitting a fin size of 65 cm and as a result accommodating sail sizes up to 10 square meters or more. The Pacers plane up in marginal conditions, way below the critical 10 knots, and the tail configuration with cut outs ensure a smooth downwind ride with continuous acceleration.The PACER’s are unique because they are the only boards on the world windsurfing market able to upwind either on the Dagger board like a former race board, or on the power of the fin,- similar to a Formula board,- thus making it the first only true Hybrid concept on the market.A few imitations are now on the market but the wide range of the Pacer concept remains supreme.
