To build the ultimate boat for the American tournament circuit, Kevlacat took a long hard look at what makes a winning boat. A superior vessel must be able to navigate with safety and comfort in choppy seas, notorious river bars, and long, high speed offshore runs to the fishing grounds. To make our boat virtually unsinkable, each sealed bulkhead that is not used is marine foam filled. Kevla- cat’s safety conscious design and superior con- struction (including hull-to-hull bulkheads) creates a boat with outstanding structural strength. Our hulls are also constructed using the stronger than steel Kevlar. Kevlar is lighter and stronger than a comparable thickness of fiberglass resulting in a lighter and stronger hull. The use of Kevlar in our boats allows the owner to mount smaller and more economical en- gines, providing better performance and fuel efficiency. Unlike most power boat catamaran manufactures that claim to use Kevlar in their hulls in strategic locations, Kevlacat uses up to two full layers in our hull, addi- tionally everything on the boat is either hand glassed or thru-bolted which allows Kevlacat to give a limited lifetime hull warranty on all of our boats.
