Text version of the page

The output lever isn't welded to the vertical drivingshaft but secured witha double key. This provides the most flexible solution as the position of the lever depends on the variable deck thickness and can be adjusted duringthe installation. The distance between the bottom of the deck flange and the top of the leveris adjustable from 41 to 120 mm. Another advantageof this solution is the fact that the steering geometry can be swapped from starboardgeometry (standard) to port geometry during the installation.

41 140 120

The draglink between the pedestal and the rudder is made of anodisedhigh strength aluminium, which provides a stronger and lighter solutionthan a stainless steel variant.

40.5 130

The rose joints on the draglink aren't industry joints, but a special design by Jefa Steering and made from high strength anodised aluminium with an easy removable delrin ballinside. This solution finally solves theelectrically disconnection of the rudder fromthe rest of the steering system and boat. All Jefa stainless steel and carbon steering wheels have a 25mm rim, instead of theusual 22 mm. Thisdramaticallyimproves the gripand feelof the steering wheel.
