Omni-directional Impeller: The Skywatch 3-D series features an omni-directional impeller designed to rotate in wind from any direction. With the Skywatch series, there is no need to point the instrument into the wind. Just hold up and even a breeze of 1 mph is registered thanks to the sapphire bearings. The impeller is rugged enough for harsh environments but can be replaced easily if damaged. Large LCD: The Skywatch is designed with a large and crisp LCD, with numerals up to 15 mm tall. For the models with multiple measurements, all information is displayed at the same time (windspeed, temperature, and/or humidity). Readings are updated instantly and the instrument will remain on for 36 hours before automatically shutting off (10 minutes for the Atmos). Maximum and average windspeeds are automatically recorded. Unique Design: The Skywatch windmeters all have a protective cap that is removed during measurement, and replaced when storing. The cap protects the impeller andthe temperature and humidity sensors (depending on model) during storage and non- use. The Skywatch case is covered in a protective polyethylene foam which seals the buttons and creates a comfortable surface to hold even while wearing boat gloves or in a wet environment. First Class Sensors: The Skywatch windmeters use sensitive sensors to measure temperature and humidity. The Atmos model features an advanced Swiss hygrometer, making the Atmos the most accurate humidity monitor on the market. The Atmos was designed speci cally for the agricultural market, where precise measurements are needed without complicated procedures. Every Skywatch is designed for accuracy and ease of use. Hands-free use: Since the Skywatch is designed so wind is measured from all directions, it is ideal for hands-free use. The tripod thread makes it easy to mount on a tripod for constant measurement (although it should not be left out in weather). The Skywatch Eole and Meteos remain on for 36 hours, and the large LCD makes it easy to check the current conditions, or to glance at minimum and maximum temperature and windspeed.
