It is a low profile monitor, specially designed for helideck protection. The monitor is fitted with jet/fog type nozzle suitable for water and AFFF type of foam. The monitor is designed with two swivels, one for horizontal, and one for the vertical movement. These are with self-locking worm and wheel type gear, totally sealed and greased for life. The monitor operates hydraulically and with electric remote control. Hand wheels are used for manually or back up operation, to be disengaged when in remote control mode. MAIN DATA Type: Single flow path water monitor with hydraulic remote control Max test pressure: 24 bar Operation: Hydraulic motors and joy-stick remote control. Two hand wheels for manual back up. Materials: Waterway in bronze and high grade stainless steel. Gear housings in cast bronze. Hydraulic motors capsuled in a casing of stainless steel Remote control: Electric/hydraulic remote control with low speed hydraulic motors.
