Intershield 803Abrasion Resistant Epoxy PRODUCT DESCRIPTION A two pack, abrasion resistant pure epoxy coating with excellent mechanical properties. INTENDED USES As a high performance two pack abrasion resistant pure epoxy coating to limit mechanical damage and subsequent corrosion. Suitable for cargo holds and also exterior hulls of ice-going vessels. Suitable for use with controlled cathodic protection. For use at Maintenance & Repair. At temperatures between 15°C and 40°C, Interthane 990 can be applied direct, in accordance with the overcoating intervals stated. For application of Interthane 990 at temperatures in excess of 40°C consult your International Paint representative. REGULATORY DATA VOC 222 g/lt as supplied (EPA Method 24) 129 g/kg of liquid paint as supplied. Intershield 803 Abrasion Resistant Epoxy LIMITATIONS UNIT SIZE The coating will exhibit surface discolouration if immersed in seawater after application and curing at temperatures <10°C. This does not effect the performance characteristics of the product. Intershield 803 will cure down to -5°C but will require a period of cure above 5°C to achieve full mechanical properties.
