Yard and Facilities Well-Equipped to Deliver Reliable and Versatile Solutions HHI’s main offshore yard is located at Ulsan Port, which is 5 km away from its headquarter office in Ulsan, Korea. The yard spreads over 1,180,757 ㎡ of paved area with world-class construction facilities. Assembly Areas Shop and others HHI built a new drydock in its offshore yard in February 2009. Semisubmersible Unit Floating Liquefied Natural Gas FLNG facilities can produce, liquefy, store and transfer LNG across the ocean. Since 1982, HHI has delivered 10 semisubmersibles, to various oil companies. Jack-Up Production Drilling and Quarter The innovative fabrication programs for the semisubmersible drilling rigs built on the ground also enabled HHI to fabricate jack-up drilling rigs on the ground. Marine Terminal and Jetty Since the construction of the Open Sea Tanker Terminal for the Port Authority of Saudi Arabia in 1976, HHI has successfully completed a number of major marine terminals and jetties in India, Thailand, the Middle East and Korea. In 1999, HHI completed a 200,000 DWT class coal unloading terminal in Israel for the Israel Electrical Corporation on a turnkey basis.
