HI-LIFT MARINA’SWEEKEND EXTRAVAGANZA! ERICKSON MARINE’S‘05 SUMMER ADVENTURE

September 16-18, 2005, Formula dealer Hi-Lift Marina helda rendezvous at the beautiful, Hawk’s Cay resort on Duck Key, Florida. There were a total of nine Formulas on this trip, ranging from a 27 PC to a 48 Yacht.The crew boated down from Miami, Florida, to Hawk’s CayResort in the Florida Keys with absolutely beautiful weather on their side. The temperature was in the low 90s—it was a welcome treat to have the weather cooperate after such a terrible hurricane season. Later that evening, the participants were invited to a delicious dinner, which was enjoyed by all!The next morning, it was time for snorkeling at a reef andexperiencing all the colorful fish. The crew had scheduled to go out to another reef that afternoon, but the water was too choppy to boat raft up as a group, so a dockside party was scheduled instead—non-stop fun. In the evening, Hi-Lift hosted a dinner followed by a “poker night” theme on one of the boats, and rumor has it that the gals beat the guys!On the third morning some ofthe participants made reservations to go to the Dolphin Encounter, swimming and mingling with the dolphins. This proved to be one of the favorite experiences for several of the participants. Later that afternoon, the boaters headed back to Miami. It was a weekend full of fun and memories! The 2005 Erickson Marine Poker Run, held August 26–27,2005, took place on the St. Croix River. The dealership had a full agenda for the participants, filled with hours of fun.Friday began with a “meet and greet” reception, followedby a kick-off party held at Clyde’s Restaurant, where everyone enjoyed a delicious barbeque dinner. Participants mingled and enjoyed themselves at the dock and restaurant into the evening. The next morning, the group left the dock at St. Croixpromptly at 10:30 a.m., receiving their cards at several different docks and restaurants along the river. The adventure then concluded on the bay at the St. Croix Marina. The participants rafted their boats together and enjoyed boating the rest of the afternoon.After the group returned, a magic show was held at themarina and an authentic Mexican dinner was served. Dancing, dining and entertainment finished off the evening as fun-filled memories were created. Erickson Marine plans to host another exciting adventureAugust 25–27, 2006—mark your calendars now!
