FORMULA FRIDAYS WITHGLENCOVE MARINE
Glencove Marine on Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, has beenhosting “Formula Fridays” since the end of May 2005. The
events have been held at different waterfront restaurants, where
proud Formula owners get together for an afternoon of fun,
refreshments and—most importantly—boating!On August 26th, 2005, Formula’s Ultimate PerformanceExperience joined Formula Fridays at Bayou Bill’s Bar and Grill.
Glencove’s Formula owners arrived with their gleaming
boats—35 of various sites and vintages. Formula company
participants on this Formula Friday were Scott and Shelley
Porter, along with Vic Spellberg. Scott brought a gorgeous
400 Super Sport in Flagship Gulfstream graphics, sporting
the optional hardtop and Volvo diesel engines. Formula’s

SHIPYARD MARINE’S‘05 SUMMER RENDEZVOUS
The 2005 Shipyard Marine Rendezvous was held Saturday,August 13, at the beautiful Stone Harbor Resort on the
waterfront in historic Sturgeon Bay with a wonderful turnout of
20 Formulas. The theme for this year’s event was a “Survivor”
Jungle motif.The day began with registration at 10:30 a.m. Participantswere given goodie bags which included 2005 ShipyardRendezvous t-shirts, can coolers and jungle-themed wrist-
bands and bandannas to be worn throughout the day. The
first trip of the day was a “Blackjack Run” to Menominee,
Michigan, where participants received the first card for their
Blackjack hand. Participants enjoyed a delicious lunch and car
show at the Menominee Municipal Marina before heading
back to Chambers Island for the final card and an afternoon of
water fun and socializing with friends. The group returned to the Stone Harbor Resort, changedinto “Survivor” costumes and enjoyed a wonderful dinner.
Prizes were given for best costumes and Blackjack hands.
Dancing provided by “The Hits” finished off the evening, as
