T his summer my husband and I had the pleasure ofintroducing our 11⁄ H -month-old baby to boating. Our son,Ryan, was born on May 28, 2005, and his first boat ride was
on the Fourth of July! Our families boat on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky, andthis summer was my husbands 22nd year on the lake. His
family has been riding on Formula boats their whole life. They
started with an 18 Signa and then
moved into an F-20 SC, which then
led to a 223 SS and a 280 SS, and
now, finally, they have settled intotheir 2004 330 SS. My husband trulyloves and cherishes all of his memories
with the Formulas. We currently own a 252 SS and my husband dreamsof one day owning a 353 FAS ere are some pictures of this summer of boating. Iam 27 years old and own a 2004 370 Super Sport with twin
500 EFIs, which I bought new in October of 2004. The boat is loaded with all the options and is outstanding.I do most of my boating around the southern Ocean City,New Jersey, area. I took delivery on May 1, 2005, and pulled
the boat out November 11, 2005, with 140 hours of exhilarat-
ing experiences aboard the finest sport cruiser out there. I have grown up on the water my whole life and ourfamily has owned a boat for as long as I can remember. My
father taught me how to drive and operate a boat from an
early age, and I became the captain of our family voyages
in boyhood. I became paralyzed from the waist down on
June 6, 2003, from a dirt marine bike accident. I have not let this
life-changing experience stop me from enjoying one of the
things I love the mostBOATING!I stepped up from a 24-foot bowrider to this 370 SS. Fora boat of its size and amenities, this thing flies. Passing other
boats at 60+ mph in a boat that
looks like a cruiser is awesome.
One look into the engine room,
and you know this boat means
businesstwin 500 HP engines,
and the rigging is top notch.Thank you, Formula, for theawesome job on my 370 SS! 2 3 T ECH . As you can see, thenewest member of our family shares his Daddys dream!Thank you, S S u u e e C C u u n n n n i i n n g g h h a a m m J J o o e e B B e e h h r r l l e e > W e bought our Formula 280 SS used last December. Theboat had very low hours and was extremely well taken care of.We sea-trialed the boat in a small bay in north Long Islandnear the Hamptons. After having the boat professionallysurveyed, it passed with flying colors, so it was off to
Massachusetts via a ferry. It was quite a trip! We put over 120hours on it this year including a trip to Marthas Vinyard,
hitting 6- to 8-foot seas in Buzzards Bay. The boat performedgreat. We also made trips to Provincetown, Boston and
Glouster, and we even trailered it up to Lake Winnipesaukee
in New Hampshire for a week. We have enjoyed the boateven more than we imagined
and hope to move up to a 330
SS within two years. I thought I would send you a photo because there is abit of a story behind it. The boat is a 1993 31 PC. I bought
the boat last year, and in two months I had the Bermuda
color sanded off and re-powered it with MerCruiser 496
HOs and Bravo II drives. I gutted the interior and exteriorand installed new upholstery and carpetI am completelytickled with the boat! My brother had his 2004 34 Sea Ray
Sundancer beside it last year at the boat dock and mine looked
newernot bad for a 12-year-old boat. I pass my brother
like he is standing still, and I am into this for 40% of what
he paid for his. You guys truly make the best boats aroundI am happyto be a Formula owner. 4 D D a a v v i i d d J J a a c c o o p p p p o o K K e e v v i i n n T T h h o o m m p p s s o o n n >
