Adjusting / Tuning Your 5th Line

The adjustable 5th line system allows you to alter the performance of your kite when riding. This works 'w? by altering the tension in the 5th line using the clam cleat mounted on the back of the pull-pull depower strap. This adjustability has the benefit of massively increasing the top end wind range of your kite without affecting the low end grunt required for light wind.

Slackening the 5^lh Line - Loosen your 5^th line fora higher edging force to help light wind and wake style riding, (fig. 1) Pull the 5th line out of the clam cleat using the tubing and allow cord to slide through the tubing. Ifig. 2) Lock the 5th line back into the clam cleat, (fig. 3) The effect of slackening the 5^th line on your riding.

Tightening the 5th Line - Tighten your 5^th line for a low edging force, suited to highwind riding and wave riding. A tight 5th line setup also makes walking up the beach in strong wind easier. Ifig. 4) Pull leash towards your body. (fig. 5) The 5^th line locks automatically at your chosen position. Ifig. 6) The effect of tightening the 5th line on your riding.

OLa 5ième ligne est ajustable. Ceci vous permet de changer la performance de votre aile en ridant. Resserrer la 5ieme ligne - Resserrez votre 5ième ligne pour obtenir moins de puissance, ce qui conviendra pour naviguer dan vents forts et surfer les vagues. Une 5ième ligne plus serrez vous aidera aussi a se promener sur la plage plus facilement, (fig. 4) Tirez le leash vers votre corps. [fig. 5) La 5ième ligne se bloquera automatiquement dans la position que vous choisissez. Ifig. 6) Voila l'effet que le resserrage de la ligne a sur votre navigation.

Spannung der 5. Leine - Spannung der 5. Leine für niedrigere Kantenkraft, besonders für Kiten beim starken Wind und Wellen-Kiten. 5. Leine Spannung erleichtert auch das zu Fuss gehen am Strand beim starken Wind. (Abb. 4) Ziehen Sie den "leash" Richtung Körper. (Abb. 5) Die 5. Leine rastet automatisch in Ihre gewählte Position ein.
