TECHNICAL DATA SHEET PR30 GLASS PRIMER Revision: 01/2011 Technical Data: Base Consistency Colour Curing system Drying Time(*) Application Temperature Flashpoint Specific Gravity Solid Content Page 1 of 1 Reactive Polyurethane Adducts Liquid Black Evaporation 10 Minutes (23°C & 50% R.H) +5°C to 35°C < 21°C 0.98 g/cm3 33 ± 2% Minimum 10 Minutes Flash –off Time Maximum 72 hours (*) Values may vary depending on environmental conditions Product: PR30 Glass Primer is a black, solvent based physical and chemical drying primer, designed to prepare the cleaned and activated glass prior to bonding with Fix190 MSP190 adhesive sealant. Characteristics: - Easy application - Corrosion prevention properties - Suitable for glass substrates Application: Shake well before use. PR30 should be mixed for 30 seconds after the mixing balls in the bottle have been freed. Apply the primer by brush, woollen wiper, solvent resistant roller or felt applicator. Apply Primer PR30 to the glass that has been activated with AC50 actvator cleaner and allow a minimum 20 minutes drying time before bonding, depending on ambient temperature. Packaging: Colour - Black Packaging – 250mL bottle Shelf life: 9 months in unopened packaging in a cool and dry storage place a t temperatures between +5°C and +25°. Surfaces: State of Surface: clean, dry, free of dust and grease We recommend a preliminary compatibility test. Health- and Safety Recommendation: Apply the usual industrial hygiene. Wear gloves . Safety Glasses. Remarks: Primer PR30 is a moisture sensitive product, the contents of the bottle should be exposed to air a s little as possible. Recap the bottle immediately after decanting and protect the contents from contamination. Due to its reativity with moisture, the contents of the opened bottle must be used within a few days, or if the contents has become milky instead of black the product must be discarded.
