Extend the use of your VHF aerial, even for Class B active VHF splitter for Class B The easySPLIT OCB (OCB stand for „operates Class B) is checking whether there is tranmit power from the VHF radio or the Class B AIS transceiver to the antenna. If this is the case, the easySPLIT disconnects very fast the other connected units. In the standard reception mode, the units are all connected to the same antenna. A very fast disconnection is necessary, because the Class B AIS Transceiver do transmit its signal with 2 W power in a very short time. Therefore the used splitter, the easySPLIT OCB, must disconnect the other units even faster than the Class B AIS transceiver is transmitting its message. The easySPLIT OCB is disconnecting the other units in quicker than 1 ms! What else do I need to use the easySPLIT OCB? As the easySPLIT OCB is a splitter, you need nothing else than your already existing units (e.g. VHF antenna) and of course a power What fits to the easySPLIT OCB? All existing VHF Radios, all existing AIS Class B transceivers, as well as all AIS receivers and all existing FM radios can be connected to the easySPLIT.
