| C. Wiring: 1. The Firehouse shall be completely pre-wired at the factory to the load side of the barrier strip. D. Alarm System — Visual High Intensity Strobe: 1. The audible alarm system shall have an output of at least 100 DBA, and a strobe light shall simultaneously come on to indicate removal of fire extinguisher or life ring. E. Access Door: 1. Door shall be hinged with stainless steel latch. 2. Material shall be clear resin. 3. Access to the fire extinguisher shall not require breakage of any part of the unit. F. Emergency Systems: 1. (Optional) remote transmitter for calling emergency services. 2. Cabinet shall be 43.5" high and shall have the capability to house a 10 lb. or 20 lb. size A, B, and C fire extinguisher. G. Life Ring (Optional): 1. Each fire cabinet shall have a bracket capable of holding a 24" life ring. H. Lighting: 1. Each fire cabinet shall be equipped with non-metered light. The light shall be a 13 watt fluorescent biaxial light that is controlled by an electromechanical photocell. 2. The light shall provide 360 degree dock illumination such that indirect lighting extends from station to station with a minimum dock lighting of one foot candle at 15'. The lighting shall not interfere with boaters' navigation. 3. Light shall be such that it lights the fire extinguisher area. |
