g^jfcp' theJfu&~$€iilcloth producer CXT/CXP Line DIMENSION-POLYANT CXT/CXP cruising laminates were developed to create low stretch, durable, easy to handle in furling high tech sails. These sophisticated styles are produced by laminating two layers of polyester taffeta on both sides of a film-encapsulated scrim while incorporating our patented X-PLY® technology. The construction of the CXT/CXP has proven excellent warp stretch performance and great tear strength. The taffetas that coverthe film and scrim are extremely rugged and offer optimum chafe resistance. While the CXT line is Polyester based the CXP cruising laminates are utilizing low stretch PEN fibers. We have created a fabric which in price/performance ratio is very attractive when compared to other performance cruising fabrics. The CXP styles offer lower stretch than polyester, yet it is durable and easy to handle.
