Developing a new life raftlighting system to replace the World renowned RB/RL product was never going to be easy, but Daniamant have succeeded with the all new RL5. The RL5 features the very latest LED technology to enhance performance and reduce costs. The RL5 now comprises of just two items. External light and lead The External Light is a flashing LED Light, offering advances in reliability and performance. The LED ring comprises some 14 LED's mounted in a way to ensure a minimum light output of 4.3cd over 180 degrees. It is connected via a 60 cm lead to the internally mounted Interior light and battery. This lead length can be varied subject to quantities required. external lights can be separately switched to conserve battery power if required. The RL5 is dated for 5 years from the date of manufacture and the complete internal light unit is replaced at that time.
