Daniamant Lifebuoy Lights meet all the latest IMO SOLAS standards LIFEBUOY LIGHTS • Fully MED approved • IMO SOLAS approved • Intrinsic Safety • Increased Safety (Category 2) • Approved to ATEX and IECEx requirements • For use in hazardous zones 1 and 2 L40 The only water activated intrinsic safety and increased safety Lifebuoy Light in the World. Approved to both ATEX and IECEx standards, the L40 is designed for use in hazardous installations, such as offshore oil rigs and gas and oil tankers. The L40 is both corrosion and tamper proof. It also uses the most reliable water activated silver chloride technology. The lamp is sealed within a tough, polycarbonate dome. The L40 will be replaced during the life of this brochure with the new L161. Please check with your Distributor for details.
