Open a bike magazine and you’ll find dozens of bikes designed for the
Tour de France or for racing down a rock-strewn trail and catching air
at 30 mph. The Ios is different: it’s designed for urban mobility and all the
requirements of the urban rat race. So we gave it all the things urban
riders need: folding convenience for portability and storage, loads
of luggage carrying capacity, dynamo hub lighting and all-weather
components. But with the Ios, our goal was to design the ‘ultimate’ urban
machine so we added more, like a patented adjustable Dahon Andros
stem, an integrated Dahon Valo light, and to top things off, the BioLogic
ReeCharge, an integrated device which stores energy from the dynamo
hub and charges your phone or iPod while you ride.
