Operational procedure
When filling the tank, fuel passes through the deck entry. Air is evacuated from the vent hole tube and contrary to a standard system, fuel, instead of spilling directly from the vent hole, descends into the sailboat fuel tank. When the fuel tank is full, a blow back is created and the fuel pump for boats automati-cally cuts out before any spillage occurs.
