This series features a tactical scale that is divided into a green starboard and a red port scale. Thus you can
read the actual course on either tack from the helmsman’s normal position. The green and red memory arrows
tells you to tack if the figure decreases while on a starboard tack, or if the number increases while on a port tack.
The top allows you to read the course downwind or to check the start-line position.

Ideal for smaller vessels, the Model 58 has a unique built-in
compensator allowing for adjustments to compensate for
errors up to 40°. These sleek compasses are equipped with
illumination and a slide-in bracket allowing for mounting on
most surfaces at any angle.

A very stable compass suitable for both power
and sail vessels. The compass’ construction and
damping characteristics means it achieves a
high level of performance even at high speeds
and in rough conditions. These models come
complete with illumination for night viewing.

help you maintain your course, the Model 85
Regatta is suitable for both power and sail
vessels. Flush mounted with a flat bottom plate,
this compass maintains a small footprint and
eliminates the needs for large cutout holes when
mounting. While typically mounted in a
powerboat on top of an instrument panel, a
common sailing installation is to have two Model
85 Regatta compasses, one mounted at each rail.
