vessel with: The AIS-MULTI is a combined AIS Dual Channel Receiver and Antenna Splitter all in one compact unit. Installation is quick and easy as it utilises the boats existing VHF Radio Antenna to provide AIS reception, thus reducing cost and time. The unit is powered by the boats 12/24VDC supply. The signal from the Antenna is amplified before being shared by the VHF Radio and internal AIS Receiver, thus ensuring minimum insertion loss. AIS information received can be displayed on a compatible Chart Plotter using the NMEA 0183 output, and at the same time USB port to display data onto a compatible Charting program.
