CEDN type self aligning intermediate shaft bearing
General
The CEDN self aligning intermediate shaft bearing is made
of highest quality cast iron with centrifugally cast lead based
white metal bearing surface.
Execution
The bearing is self-lubricating and prepared for water-
cooling. The self-aligning design simplifies installation and
reduces wear of the bearing compared to conventional rigid
design. The bearings are equipped with an oil level gauge
and a thermometer as standard.
Optional items
Temperature sensor type PT-100 and water cooler can be
installed on the bearings as an option. In case of low shaft
speed running conditions, the bearings can be equipped
with a hydrostatic lubrication system. The oil is then
supplied from a separate pump unit containing an electric
driven pump and an oil cooler.
