Introduction

C-Tech Ltd manufactures stock and custom-made carbon fibre sail battens for all types of

yachts, from harbour racers and cruisers, multihulls and super maxis, up to the largest of

superyachts. Manufactured in New Zealand and exported world-wide, CT Sailbattens were

originally developed for America's Cup mainsails in 2002. Syndicates using CT Sailbattens

found them to be stronger, lighter and more durable than any other batten tested previously in

this environment.

The unique design was so successful that a full range of sail battens was soon developed for

Made from prepreg carbon fibre, and in some cases blended with prepreg s-glass,
