It is idéal for (flexible batten) cruiser-racers where headsail shape is important, but so too is the convergence of having a furling Mb. The light-weight, flexible nature of the CT FlexiFurl means it will not break and cause damage to the sait. This provides more support to the leech of a headsail than can be provided with vertical battens. When bent into a tight radius the webbing cover allows the two polycarbonate sides to flatten. The flexible nature of the polycarbonate means the batten can assume a tight curvature without breakrng, M\ When the batten first cornes in contact with the forestay the curved sides compress flat and the CT FlexiFurl assumes the tight curve needed to furl around the forestay.
