The alarmed area is represented by a plan view of buildings and surrounding areas; system units are represented as icons on the plan. AutroMaster 5000 is a complete presentation system for control and monitoring of alarmed areas, and forms an integrated part of the fire-alarm system. A simple graphical user interface provides unprecedented control and monitoring. The system offers advanced functionality for many different applications. The system is expansible, and is easily upgraded using built-in tools. Multiple layers can be implemented to represent additional equipment relevant to safety; these layers can be switched on/off to present information more clearly. AutroMaster 5000 uses colour-graphics for the display of system events (smoke/heat development), providing detailed information so that necessary action can be taken. AutroMaster 5000 provides historical overviews of measured values for specific detectors, as well as for the entire system; using the built-in report generator, these provide cost-efficient documentation and maintenance logs. In the event of an incipient fire, all relevant data is presented on screen, including location, point status and any text information that is connected to the point. Additional information may be set up for points around the system, giving the system operator access to safety information at the touch of a button. Control of the alarmed area and its subsystems are unlimited; core features include detector-group management for logical grouping of detectors; enablement/disablement of detectors and groups; control of programmable logic controllers; door control; control of low-location lighting, CCTV systems and emergency lighting. AutroMaster 5000 can be distributed on a synchronized network, ensuring information and control is available throughout the system. Duty control allows delegation of duty between networked AutroMaster 5000s.
