The Legend LX Supreme ACD is thecold-water version of the Legend LXACD. It is designated by the “snowflake” which is laser-etched intothe case, and by the silver accent ring on the front. It has all the samefeatures as the Legend LX ACD and the following cold water features:• Specifically adjusted to pass thestringent European Standards for cold-water regulator performance• A mouthpiece lip shield for warmthin extreme cold• Built-in heat exchanger. The Legend Supreme is the cold water versionof the Legend and can be identified by the “snowflake” laser-etched into the case. It ismatched with the same Legend first stage asfound on the other Legend models, and sharesthe same performance features as the Legend,plus the following: • Specifically adjusted to pass the stringentEuropean Standards for cold-water regulatorperformance• A mouthpiece lip shield for warmth in extremecold• Built-in heat exchangers. The Legend regulator uses a secondstage that is a pneumatically balanceddesign that does not require diveradjustment.This is reliability andsimplicity at its best! The Legend ismatched exclusively with the Legendover-balanced diaphragm first stage. 2nd STAGE • Pneumatic balancing for superior easeof inhalation at any tank pressure• Large, easy-to-grip venturi leverreduces sensitivity to free flow on the surface and provides maximum gas flow at depth. The MP pressure increases because thepiston of the dry chamber transmit for an equivalent depth a stronger force. During thedescent, the MP increase faster than the hydrostatic pressure. Thi is due of the ADCsystem (Asymetric Dry Chamber). Over balanced first stage design delivers superiorbreathing performance even at increased depth.MP and HP outlets perfectly positioned allow an idealorientation of the hoses.Polyurethane protector : impact protection of the firststage.
