When set to 0, the computer will perform calculations based on the current altitude setting. If set to 1, the calculations are made as though the computer was at one altitude sector higher. This adds in an extra level of conservatism.
f. Water type: Actual depth can differ based on the salinity of the water. If you are diving in a fresh water lake or river, set the Pulse to Fresh; if diving in seawater, set it to Sea.
g. Profile recording interval: The pulse can record depth measurements every 15 or 30 seconds. If set to 15, memory capacity is cut in half.
2. To make changes to the settings, press LOCK.
3. Press SET to change the setting; press SELECT to accept the setting and move to the next field. To exit the mode, Press LOCK.
