If set to 1, the calculations are made as though the computer was at one altitude sector higher. This adds in an extra level of conservatism. f. Water type: Actual depth can differ based on the salinity of the water. If you are diving in a fresh water lake or river, set the Pulse to Fresh; if diving in seawater, set it to Sea. g.
