The DRY dock manufacturer, conceived by Claude KERMOAL and François LUCAS, architect, is the ideal solution for the dock of powerboats. The first one Dry Dock arrived in Martinique in bay of the Sailor at the beginning of September, of a size of 20 x 15 m he is foreseen to lift 80 tons. This one was conceived for the dock of catamarans. We can adapt our models following your use.
Our priority: Respect the environment.
Due to its conception the Dry Dock filter, sorts and cleans the contaminated water to preserve the eco-system. Its filtering capability allows to reject to the sea non polluted water.
Considering the constant raise of the nautical activities, it is important to plan the future from a practical and
ecological point of view. The Dry Dock brings a solution to pre­serve ours costs from contaminated water.

Today any organization related to the nautical activities like har­bors, charter company etc... have to consider the environment and insure the sea protection. It means, they have a legal obligation to collect and process the contaminated water coming from theirs careening activities.
Waters having been used for the dock, are got back in tubs with settling, the platform contains a slope to get back the effluents of dock through a railing, by gravity, in a trench. Not to have to treat the rainwater which by definition is pure, the device is either equipped with a shutter of closing of the railing of recovery, or equipped with a manual bi-pass which diverts the rainwater when the platform is not in functioning.
PRINCIPLE
The advantage of the Dry Dock is to be able to perform a clean careening at sea, in respect to the European laws and regulations. Extract from the law of the third of January 192: 'The harbor's responsibility is engaged in waste manage­ment, the polluter will have to pay for the damage, it means the harbor, the ship builder etc ..."
Considering that each time a boat is cleaned or careened, the water charges itself in all sorts of solid polluted particles like sand, paint, lead, stones, oil, gasoline or grease. In conclusion, it is absolutely necessary to consider and process the contaminated and polluted water directly during the careening process. To be able to send back clean water to the sea, all the water collected on the Dry Dock will be collected in several sedimentation tanks for boats to be treated.
Based on our professional experience and expertise, after a few years of test and engineering work, A.B.C. Dock Eco places on the market a range of Dry Dock. A new clean careening platform is born. The DRY DOCK Duo.
The fundamental part of the Dry Dock concept is the use of an industrial oily water separators system. The sepa­ration of the oil from the water is an absolutely necessary step before starting the second part of the water treatment. This second process is based on the settling principle of the impurity considering the particuls'mass.
Based on practical experiences, the mud quantity generated from the careening process is a direct function of the region and the boat's size. The mud is stored in a specific tank used as a buffer. Later on, the mud will be treated in land by a specialized organization. For a normal activity, it means an average of 20 Hulls per month based on a 60 foot ship, it will generate 250 Kg of mud.
The filtering efficiency is continuously controlled from the OCD sensor. This one insures the discharge to the sea to a maximum of 15 PPM or less whatever the polluted level of the water. Many cycles are done if necessary. The water is kept in close loop without any rejection at sea as long as water is not consider fully clean.
SEDIMENTATION TANK
The first treatment is done into 3 or 4 settling tanks to isolate the mud. The bigger and heavier particles are isolated and trapped as mud into the first tank. The second tank collects all the floating toxics like oil, grease etc... If needed a spe­cific powder is added to the water to push down the hydro carbure to the tank bottom as mud. The third tank traps the fine particles . The first treatment is done into 3 or 4 settling tanks to isolate the mud. RECYCLING OF THE RAINWATER
The water can be poured in the sewer's or rainwater's network to be used later on to sprinkle vehicles, or for high pres­sure cleaning machine. In conclusion as the totality of the water is reused during the cleaning process no reject is done at sea.
