| J&J Design created this range of modern performance cruisers for the young Croatian boatyard AD Boats Ltd, which was established as a part of a big car component manufacturer. This was a great opportunity - having an open minded partner, a blank sheet of paper, plenty of experience and many fresh ideas. We were also able to use the industrial experience of the company AD. All models follow the same philosophy: to give the best value for money to clients, who really love to sail. The main premise for the design brief encompassed: • Good ergonomic design offering comfort in port and at sea. • Superb sailing performance even in light winds whilst full sail can be maintained up to 18 knots true wind speed. • Modern hull shape, sloop rigged high mast and high aspect appendages. • Rigid hull structure, allowing full tens ion on the forestay in all weathers. • Beautifully pleasing lines outside and inside. • High quality finish from moulds, tools and gel-coat through to furniture and selected equipment from well established and proven suppliers.
